How to identify tempered glass and ordinary glass?

Glass is an essential part of the doors and windows, the early construction of glass doors and windows are single-layer flat glass. With the development, the toughened glass, insulating glass, laminated glass, bullet-proof glass are a new choice. Today, most of the doors and windows use tempered glass.
1, look at the glass logo
Look at the corners of the glass of 3C logo, painting 3c mark (the kind of no scraping) are basically tempered glass. Toughened glass processing is to cut ordinary float glass into the required size, and then edging, cleaning, printing paint with the China national mandatory certification ccc mark(CE mark in European market), into the steel furnace. After firing the finished glass can not be cut or in any processing. The ink after the high temperature through the general situation is not scraping. (If your home on the 3C logo can be wiped off the hand, it can be concluded that the basic is a fake toughened glass)

2, to see whether or not with slight deformation
From the side of the glass to see whether there is a slight deformation, because the glass through the high temperature firing, there will be a slight deformation of the phenomenon, which can only be seen from the side of the glass, the front is generally difficult to see.
3, see the glass fragments
Ordinary glass broken into large sheet, sharp, easy to hurt. Toughened glass is broken into granular, the corner is very blunt, not easy to hurt human beings.

Characteristics of Tempered glass
1, with high impact strength, 5 times higher than ordinary glass; bending strength, 5 times higher than ordinary flat glass; thermal stability, can withstand temperature changes of 200 ℃; smooth, transparent, non-cutting and so on. In case of super impact damage, the debris was scattered small granular, no sharp edges and corners, it is also known as safety glass.
2, Glass will be a slight thickness thinning after tempered.
Thinning of the reason is because the glass in the hot melt softening, after strong winds to make it fast cooling, so that the crystal internal crystal gap becomes smaller, the pressure becomes larger, so the glass after tempered to be thinner than before. Under normal circumstances 4-6MM glass after thinning 0.2-0.8MM thinner, 8-19MM within 0.9-1.8MM thinner.
